This was done completely with a Zen Magnetic Poetry set I had just gotten. I wanted to give them a try. I think it's about the frustrations of being a teenager.

The Paradoxical Understanding

A mystical vision of truth and disciplined desires
The sacred path to enlightenment sought

Vow only to sex with oneself
Need strength of mind to master indulgence

Meaning is abandoned in a grave with God
A pointless existence ends in nothingness

The honored teachings of hope and joy
Left behind doors of dead ideas

A river of suffering leads the way
Pain and hate reflected in its honest waters

The paradoxical understanding:
You awaken to freedom of thought but the world is asleep
