Walking through a cemetery (unfinished)
dead grass crunching beneath feet
shadows of tombstones
fading light playing tricks with tree shadows
names of the deceased leaping out like ------
smell of wilting flowers
knowledge carrying (grass/tombstones)
hear the sobs of a lady for her husband
flapping of the flags of veterans
Sitting in a Shopping Mall
hear the crinkle of bags
the jingle of purses
a happy child with a new toy
smell the mixed food from restaurants
feel the wooden bench I’m sitting on
hear someone laugh out loud
bright signs advertising things
kids dragged along, not wanting to be there
Walking through my place in the woods
feel the soft ground
hard rocks as pillows
hear heartbeat
smell the cleanness of the air
see beautiful deer, almost close enough to touch
hear birds chirping
see the bright green of leaves with the sunshine
feel the warmth of the sun
