not understanding, not believing
the words are cast upon deaf ears
the pain and suffering is shown to blind eyes
and not felt by dead hearts
the world is given to untrained hands
and as everything slides downhill
there is no one waiting to catch it.
for they will be crushed beneath its immensity
and everyone fears their own mortality
not realizing that if they don’t try to catch it
they will fall down with it anyway.
