CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
All of the scanners are good scanners, but
I believe the CanoScan 5000F is the best scanner to purchase.
- It is the lowest priced of the four scanners. (3)
- It implements Canon’s patented FARE (Film Automatic
Retouching and Enhancement) technology that will fix damage and remove dust
from film negatives in the scanned product. (3)
- PCWorld.com gave it a 4-½ star rating out of five.
(4)
- It produced high quality, true to color scans.
