My stories aren't as depressing as my poems, in my opinion, although I don't care for most of them. A few won some contests, several were published in the high school literary magazine, and The Jigsaw Puzzle was even used to advertise it. I also have plans in my mind of turning that particular story into a screenplay. It's so much easier to get rights from yourself to use your own material than it is to use someone else's.
